    Assembly

By default, the portal comes with an instance of self-administration in the root channel named "Default Administration." This instance will display the entire portal when accessing the Content Administration. For each new instance of the self-administration service, a new entry will be available in the instance selection in the top bar in Content Administration mode, as highlighted in the figure below:

    Customization

LumisXP provides a standard Content Administration page. There is no access to this page except through the publisher's mode bar. This page has special permissions and thus cannot be edited by any user (including portal administrators). However, there is a way to customize a self-administration page.

To create a customized Content Administration page, it is necessary to create a page and add the Navigation and Holder interfaces.

When creating this page, it is recommended to use the default layout file: lumis/portal/presentation/mode/publisher/autoAdministrationLayoutFile.html.

Later, it is necessary to indicate in the self-administration instance which page will be used. To inform, go to the service instance and edit it. In the "Self Administration" tab, you can choose the page.

A channel that has an instance of this service is considered the root of a section of the Content Administration. Thus, when entering the Content Administration, the portal will identify this root to display the information of the corresponding channel/service instance tree.

Therefore, it is possible to define different Content Administration pages for a portal, requiring each desired page to have its corresponding page built in the portal and associated with a Self Administration service instance. This way, users will see in Content Administration mode the sections corresponding to the Self Administration service instances to which they have access.
