REST

REST (Representational State Transfer) is a software architecture style used in distributed systems. Its use simplifies and standardizes access to information available in 'web' applications.

The main purpose of this functionality is to allow different applications to access information published in LumisXP solutions easily, without the need to construct a complex and specific setup.

To this end, LumisXP provides the option to allow access to contents from any 'source', as long as it is enabled for use via REST.
