Registration Management

The WSRP Producer service has specific interfaces to assist in managing the records.  The interfaces are Manage Records and Record Details.  Both are interfaces that can be instantiated on any page, however, as mentioned in the Assembly topic, they should be placed on dedicated pages within a controlled area where only the  administrators/assemblers of the portal have access.

Manage Records

The manage records interface allows you to add a new outband record, update the lifetime, or delete a record.  In the records list, all records are displayed, including those created inband.  From this interface, you can view the details of a consumer by clicking on their link.  The link is automatically generated if there is a Record Details interface instantiated.  

Add Outband Record

1) In the Manage Records interface, press the Add Outband Record button.

2) The interface to insert a new outband record will be displayed.  

3) Fill in the requested information and press the ok button.

Extend Validity (Lifetime)

1) In the Manage Records interface, press the Extend Validity button.

2) Fill in the validity with the new value and press the ok button.  

Delete Record

1) In the Manage Records interface, select a record and press the Delete button.  Removing the record prevents the consumer from continuing to use LumisXP as a producer for that instance of the service.

Record Details

1) In the Manage Records interface, click on a record.

2) The Record Details interface will be displayed containing its information.  The Record Details screen is a read-only screen, with no interaction available for altering the portal's state.
