Synonyms

Allows the registration of synonym words for the portal's search service

This service allows publishers to register synonym words to be used by the search service of LumisXP. Each entry in this registration has a title to identify this entry (used only for identification), the synonym words (there must be at least two words in each entry in this registration) and the language of these synonym words.

Notes

When using this registration, publishers should be aware that it is global, meaning there is one synonym registration per LumisXP environment.
The registered synonyms may not take effect immediately. It may take some time for the synonyms to have an impact on the search.
The registered words must start with a letter and must be limited to alphanumeric characters, _ and - and must not exceed 50 characters.
The words are considered synonyms for each other. For example, if a synonym registration has the words house and property, when the user searches for house, they will find content that has the word property and when the user searches for the word property, they will find content that has the word house.

Permissions

Manage service instance: Allows managing all the data of this service instance, including deleting it completely.
Edit content of service instance: Allows managing all the data of this service instance with publisher profile.
View service instance: Allows viewing public data of this service instance.
