    Install Version

    Allows you to choose which version LumisXP will be updated to.

    By selecting a version through the "Install" button,
    the user will be taken to a login screen on the LumisXP website.
    After the user is authenticated on the LumisXP website, the Terms of Use for the selected version will be presented to the user.
    Once the Terms of Use are accepted, the user will be informed about what will happen in the update process of the portal.
    On this screen, the user must enter their credentials on the LumisXP website to validate that they have permission to download the desired version.
    Given a version, it is necessary to accept its terms of use.
    This screen will display some important details of the installation process for a new version.

    Important notes:

    • Any changes made to the default configuration files of the portal (<installation>/lumisdata/config and <installation>/www/WEB-INF/web.xml), except for lumishibernate.cfg.xml, will be lost and need to be changed manually after the update.
    • Your portal will download the desired version from our servers and it will be necessary to have system administrator permission to stop and start Tomcat. This download process may take about 10 to 15 minutes.
    • All log files related to the update process will be created in the directory <installation>/lumisdata/log/upgrade.
    • If the LumisXP Message Manager is properly configured, at the end of the process, an email will be sent informing the registered user on the LumisXP website about the completion of the update process.
