URL Shortener

This tab presents the settings related to the URL shortener of the channel being modified.

Configure URL Shortener

Through this interface, it is possible to configure the URL shortener that will be used by the Microblog and Social Media Publication services that inherit this configuration. It will be used to shorten content with URLs created in these services.

Shortener:

• Inherit: The current channel will inherit the configuration from the parent channel. If there is no parent channel, no shortener will be used;
• None: No shortener will be used. The original URL will be kept;
• TinyURL: TinyURL will be used to shorten the URLs;
• Google: Google will be used to shorten the URLs. In this case, an API key is required to perform the URL shortening;
• Custom: Uses a custom URL to shorten the URLs. Requires a base access URL and may contain other extra parameters (key/value).
