Channel Removal

The removal of a channel deletes all data associated with the channel, such as page settings, service instance data, and access control.

The removal will not be processed in cases where there is external dependency. For example, in cases where external pages use interfaces from the service instances of the channel to be removed.

There are two ways to remove a channel:

• In the browser, right-click on the channel you want to remove, select the Delete option;

Or

• Right-click on the “Portal” channel, or on another channel, select Manage Sub-Channels;
• In the administrative area of the channel, select the Manage Sub-channels option, then select the child channel(s), and finally select Delete.
