Architecture

The LumisXP is a complete product for the development, assembly, and administration of corporate portals.

Its internal architecture can be represented by abstraction layers, composed of frameworks that are used internally by the product and can be used and extended by the solutions developed on LumisXP, thus providing customization flexibility while maintaining development productivity.

The main services involved in all LumisXP solutions are:

• Web server: all static files are served to the end user by this service
• Application server: all dynamic and secure information is served by the application server. All administration functionality is served through here.
• Database: All content, structure and security information is stored here.
• Big Data server: Large quantities of information regarding analytics and search are stored here for quick access.

All services are scalable vertically and horizontally to meet the requirements of the solution em terms of scalability and redundancy. LumisXP is available in a SaaS model in the cloud or it could be installed onpremise or private client cloud. Some known cloud services where LumisXP run are:
